Barriercoats

A barriercoat is a specialized type of gelcoat known for its high resistance to hydrolysis and chemical influences. It prevents the visibility of fibers on the surface, ensuring excellent resistance to osmosis and preventing the formation of bubbles on the final product. Barrier coatings, with their stiffness and mechanical strength, create a strong foundational layer for gelcoats. The consumption of barrier coatings per square meter is lower than that of gelcoats due to their lower density.
